The Cosmic Guitar plug-in introduces a novel approach to sound processing by emulating the tonal characteristics of photonic musical instruments—an emerging class of instruments that generate sound through high-frequency electromagnetic resonance within metallic structures. Unlike traditional acoustic instruments that rely on sound wave resonance in wood, photonic guitars produce electromagnetic wave-based music, which cannot be perceived directly by the ear. This plugin leverages measurements from physical photonic guitar prototypes, combined with a physics-based model of electromagnetic interactions, to translate these effects into audible elements within your musical projects.
